Did “Psychic Twins” Predict the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks?

In an insightful article posted on the eighth anniversary of 9/11, Stephen Packard artfully points out, “the [9/11 terrorist attacks] were never in any way predicted by any of the self-proclaimed psychics or future-seers out there. While some have claimed that the vague words of Nostradamus or some other cryptic phrase contains clues, the fact is that nobody, no professional nor amateur psychic gave any indication that there would be a major terrorist attack in New York City or Washington in September 2001.” This, of course, is very could evidence for the fact that psychic powers may not exist at all.

Apparently, though, “psychic” twins Terry and Linda Jamison DO claim to have predicted 9/11. Supposedly, the prediction was made nearly two years earlier, on Art Bell “Coast to Coast A.M.” Premier Radio, in November of 1999. The twins claim that they often sit and write out their predictions, and on that particular day, they both had a dire premonition of what was to come.

When the twins appeared on the Dr. Keith Ablow show in 2007, Terry Jamison explained “that day [in 1999] we tuned in and we predicted…we sat writing next to each other…we wrote everything in detail that would transpire with the 9/11 events.” Linda Jamison breaks in to add, “Bin Laden, World Trade Center Attacks, terrorist attacks…” At this point, Dr. Ablow announces that they actually have the tape of that amazing prediction, and goes on to play it for the audience.

We then hear a recorded voice of one of the twins saying, “We are seeing various terrorist attacks on federal government and also the New York Trade Center, the World Trade Center…” That’s where it stops.

What’s missing from this prediction? Bin Laden, for one thing—the twins do claim to have mentioned him in their original prediction, but oddly enough, do not mention him on the radio show. If they did, in fact, mention him on the show, I have been unable to find a copy of that additional recording. Also—and most noticeably–the prediction does not appear to include a date or time.   One has to wonder that if the twins predicted any specific details of 9/11 on the radio, why would Dr. Ablow not have kept the recording going long enough for the audience to hear those very important points?  Wouldn’t that be the very reason for playing the tape in the first place?

Does everything pass for a psychic prediction these days?

Essentially, the claim is that there will be a terrorist attack on the federal government, and also on the World Trade Center. No idea when. No idea by whom. Without that, the “prediction” is really just a guess–and an educated guess, considering that the World Trade Center “stood as the symbol of American economic might, as powerful an icon for capitalism as the Statue of Liberty is for freedom” (thereby making it a tempting target for America’s enemies) and considering, of course, that the towers were already attacked once, in 1993. A prediction made in 1999 of a terrorist attack on the world trade center would seem likely to come true somewhere down the line; without a specific time or place, the twins could have claimed accuracy had the towers been attacked within a year, five years, or even thirty years.

Let’s say I predict, here and now, that someone will try to assassinate a US president. Whether the assassination attempt is successful or unsuccessful, whether it happens tomorrow, within the next ten years, or after my death, eventually someone will be able to say, “Wow! She was right!”

The twins appear to claim, of course, that they made very specific predictions about the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, but forgive me if I’m not willing to take their word on that. They insist that they had put the 9/11 prediction on their website two years prior to 2001, but the FBI shut down their website, as well as “every website that had our prediction on it.”
Hmmmm.

So—just to be fair—does anyone have knowledge of any documented, specific 9/11 predictions made by the twins prior to the 2001 terrorist attacks?

There’s a psychic in Australia that predicted the 9/11 attacks. I was one of his clients. His description was to the effect that around the 10th-12th September 2001, there would be a terrorist attack in New York which would adversely affect airline shares. He described huge bombs being used as part of the attack, and said that it’s purpose was to change the government in some important feature and hide a huge financial scandal. He kept checking and re-checking, but it appeared 3 times in readings in 1998 and 1999. By the third one, we (the business partners that I represented and I) took it seriously. He got the date close, and the airline shares predicted drop was correct. His name was John Croino.
